I'll tell you, if I were to go the next hundred years before I hear another train, it would be all too soon,,just worked my 22nd day in a row. Hopefully the railroad nazi's don't read this, but I plan on being incredibly sick on labor day weekend, and I plan on going back to ole kentucky to recover,,,YeeHaw!!


Ive worked through Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day..... it's time for a well deserved rest from the whistles and rails. I'm dustin off my mandolin as we speak.

Then you did the next best thing a hillbilly can do, huh? .... you put your ear against the rail track and heard every note, didn't ya'?! :o) Yes, we northern southerners are innovators by necessity.

Gosh, and here I thought I had it bad.   So that means
we both salivated all weekend.    siiiigh.   You weren't alone
bud, but at least I didn't have it in my face.   :os
Oh well,  we always have train tracks nearby.
