I am the ultimate Stanley fan –
have been all my life. I have TONS of Stanley music and
knowledge and feel there’s nothing in the world like it. I also love all other types of
music. I found something pretty
neat when I was listening to snippits of music on the Internet tonight. There’s a young singer from Australia named Kasey
Chambers. She has a wonderful voice
and makes great music – country.
On her latest album “Wayward Angel” in the song “Pony”
there is a line that says; “When I grow up I want a baby – I’m
gonna name it after Ralph Stanley. Then
I sure won’t mind when it cries all night – just as long as it
looks like me.” When I heard
that I just had to giggle. It’s
good to hear of Ralph’s influence down under! Go Ralph! Merry Christmas to all! Godspeed!
