so glad you enjoyed the info on the museum, etc. we just love the place. my husband's grandparents are from overton county & we have been going up there for years (i'm a flatlander, but fell in love with the hills 22 years ago & we will be moving up there -cleveland area - in the next few months - the good lord willing)
i only got to see one hour of the series on appalachia on pbs - i am going to the website & see if they sell it on a video or dvd.
another good video is called 'down from the mountain' - it is about the making of "oh brother where art thou" and all the music that went into it. you'd probably like that, too.
