In Tennessee and where ever else the orange and white waves, their
version of Rocky Top is Supreme.
* Jeff? Lol, my family tells my
husband that
Rocky Top was my first debut. I was around
3
and my Unlces literally called me out on the
porch
(where they retired, playing their music and
smoking their tabacky after a big supper.. while
of course the women did the dishes. ha!).
I'd
beller out that song and I didn't speak well, so
it came out "Wocky Top". My favorite line
was always "Once there was a girl on Wocky Top,
half bear the other half cat!!".
<smiles> When I wanted to
hear & learn the
Gospel songs... I went back in to the kitchen
where the women were.
Thanks for that GOOD memory.
and.... GET R'DONE!!
