Hi,

If you are speaking from data of Chemical Structures, here are some
explanations:
- boiling points (bp) and melting points (mp) are calculated from values founded
in chemical provider catalogs and the Handbook of Chemistry. For each bp or mp
entry, the element value is the mean of the data founded into these sources and
error values represents the precision of the information.
- InChi codes and molecular weights are computed with Open Babel
- All data are provided under BSD license.

Jerome Pansanel

P.S.: a new version of chemical-structures will be released at the end of
August.
