Some time ago Egon told me, that he wanted to get rid of these text
files. I also think, they are not really necessary. In the case that
several XML files share the same text source, it would make sense to
maintain the text-files instead of the created XML. But if that's not
the case, I wonder if we should get rid of the text files and only
maintain the XML files.
