Make sure all your DNS is right. To get all of your email & send with your domain with Blue Onyx box you will need to add your domain to the Force Sender Domain in the advanced under Email. Are there any delivery attempts in the maillog? You should see a host trying to connect to deliver e-mail. And check your MX.. do they even point to your new server? Our old raq4 finally died last night (kernel panic and hardware failure). I took out the hard drive and memory and managed to get an old chassis running with the ram and drive, but its not happy. I have been working on loading a DL360 G4 for some time but never got round to finishing it off as the BQ was kind of happy. Now I really need it to work and am having some issues with the email. I have loaded Blue Onyx and configured the server, run yum etc etc and the server and OS are working happy. I set all the network settings as required and created the first virtual host which was magmawww.co.uk as the machine is called zoom.magmawww.co.uk. Email works in and out for all users created. I then created magma-group.co.uk as another virtual host and created all the users. Outgoing mail works (sent from the server to a yahoo.co.uk email account) but the server will not receive incoming emails. I don't get a return error message though, it seems to deliver the mail but it never arrives. I remember this was an issue on our BQ Raq4 so I used to reboot the server then all was well. Re-booting the BO server does not correct the problem. I have tried service sendmail restart and this does not correct the problem. I looked at some other posts and found that possibly executing makemap hash virtusertables < virtusertables may help. It does not correct the problem. Running grep "domain name" * shows all the correct virt host maps. Any ideas??? I am pulling my hair out. Not sure how much longer by BQ Raq4 elastic band fixes will hold out.
