If you disable e-mail the server updates the database and sets to deny all mail for the mail server alias. Do not disable e-mail. Just remove the e-mail server alias. So.. - put back the e-mail server alias you may have had there before you disabled it (and save) - enable e-mail for vsite - remove e-mail server alias at vsite

Then go to "services" and choose "Email" Remove the "Email Server Aliases" and click "Disable Email for Domain" and press the blue save button. Now the server will not try to deliver mails local. This is a bit OT and should be something easy to fix for me.. but to be honest i cant find the culprit. I bet im just being blind and im missing something really obvious. If someone could point me in the right direction i would be very appreciated. I have this site: somesite.com configured on a BX server on IP1. This site only has web service on the BX server on IP1. Web service is configured somewhere else on another server (Windows machin ungh!) on IP2. Local DNS server knows that A is pointing to IP1 and that MX is pointing to IP2. Remote DNS server (where the mail server is) knows the exact same information. All around the internet mail delivery works fine and ends up on IP2 (Windows machine). But locally (On the BX server, lets say the site's contact form)... If i try to send a e-mail it will always try to deliver to the BX server on IP1 ending up on a error: "User account does not exist" Ive disabled mail server, set up DNS.. what else can i do? Use resolv.conf? Thanks in advance, Gustavo _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
