I may have to do that. This 10 second delay is maddening, and I have looked for six hours today for a solution to no avail. Dec 26 18:14:50 web1 xinetd[23556]: START: ftp pid=31969 from=123.123.123.123 Dec 26 18:15:00 web1 proftpd[31969]: 208.77.219.98 (66.177.41.71[123.123.123.123]) - FTP session opened. Notice the ten second delay from xinetd receiving the connection and proftpd launching? Ten seconds, every time. It's frustrating trying to nail down where it is. What is really nuts it that it worked and then quit again. _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
