Sorry to insist Gerald, but can you elaborate what it is for. The reason I am asking is that I have a tomcat app with ssl running, I removed the nss.conf config file and the port 8443 doesn't listen anymore after a restart. But https to the site still works as expected. I haven't actually figured what nss.conf is good for as it seems to be sort of an alternative to mod_ssl.
