Jeff,

The live CD isn't that unusual.  Those live CDs always create a bunch of virtual partitions in RAM and load them up as /sda, /sdb, /sdc, etc...

But the BlueOnyx installer identifying them as /sde and /sdf is odd.  What else is plugged into that system's drive ports?  These can't be the only two drives, right?
