I get this on one of my 5208R boxes connected to Spectrum business class cable 
also. Interesting that another box also on Spectrum business class doesn’t have 
this issue, but that is another story... And good luck getting reverse dns in 
ipv6 with Spectrum!

The only way I have been able to take care of this is to enter a CLIENT_OPTIONS 
line in the m4 file and rebuild, then restart sendmail. 

CLIENT_OPTIONS(`Family=inet6,Addr=::ffff:1.2.3.4')dnl

Where 1.2.3.4 is your ipv4 address. 

You should also make sure you have reverse dns for your ipv4. 

Michael can add to this, but this has gotten me through. Of course  I have to 
redo this every time a config change is made in the GUI, but thankfully, I only 
have to remember this one box.
