After some deeper digging it seemed that in the admin server config the SSLEngine was off (no idea why that has changed by itself)
# ssl is on for the admin server by default <VirtualHost _default_:444> SSLEngine off </VirtualHost> Changed to SSLEngine on and all seems OK again. Weird... janwillem From: Blueonyx <blueonyx-boun...@mail.blueonyx.it> on behalf of Janwillem Ronken <j...@veritekglobal.eu> Reply-To: BlueOnyx General Mailing List <blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it> Date: Wednesday, 11. Result: admin server didn't answer anymore... >From adm_error: [Wed Jul 11 10:32:17.138661 2018] [ssl:error] [pid 13495] AH02235: Unable to configure server certificate for stapling I was able to connect finally on the IP of the admin server but any connection attempts to the servername (it has a valid, official cert) time out. Vhosts with same (wildcard) cert run OK. Any ideas?
