Guys
I have three instances of Owncloud that I installed on different 5209R
servers. Each of them have a warning that (1) Transactional File
Locking should be configured and (2) No memory cache has been
configured – please configure a memcache.
I presume configuring these would increase performance and if so, can
anyone advise how I go about this please?
I can't comment on all, but as far as memcached: I am also looking at
it. In the past, memcached has been used for the BlueOnyx database, but
because of some troubles with that, that is not being used anymore by it.
However, traces of memcached seem still installed, not enough to start
using it, but enough to prevent is from installing:
[root@vps ~]# yum install memcached
Last metadata expiration check: 0:28:34 ago on Wed 25 Mar 2020 01:17:54
PM CET.
Package swatch-4.0.0-0BX58.el8.noarch is already installed.
Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.
Complete!
[root@vps ~]#
Perhaps Michael can comment.
Kind regards
Maurice
