Hi all,

a customer wanted us to update MariaDB version for their site for not having
any WordPress warnings..

We told them that the version installed is supplied by RedHat and updated until
EOL of CentOS 7.

Later on we realised that this is not true: the running version of mysqld is
5.5.40 (current version is 5.5.68):

  [user@redacted ~]# rpm -qf /usr/libexec/mysqld
  mariadb-galera-server-5.5.40-4.el7.x86_64

This software is coming from a BO repo and got its last update in 2016. Its not
supported anymore regarding to mariadb.com.

@Michael: Can we please get an updated MariaDB daemon? I suppose there is a
reason we are not just using the standard daemon from the CentOS project..?

Thanks and regards,
Tobias
