Charlie, I use Blueprint for Facebook applications. I just do:

.container { width:760px; overflow:hidden; }

in my custom CSS. This is for the new profile layout. I also remove
the default styling on links and set the font sizes to a base of 11px
to match Facebook's defaults, but other than that, it's not hard. I
prefer to sticking to 760px since I prefer using FBML, but even in an
IFRAME, you can auto-resize so you should be well off with 760px too.
