Actually it is crystal clear in its own way. This download file name is automatically generated from the BP GitHub repository. The '79da797d23731bc186fb6cd8cf4a28c3d1f3d58a' portion of the name represents the exact commit SHA1 hash of the source code that you are pulling from GitHub. A snapshot in time if you will. You can even download older source code zip/tar.gz files based on an older commit SHA1.
It may not look pretty but its actually a feature and not a bug.
