I have three div's: pcontent (primary content), scontent (secondary
content), tcontent (tertiary content). I want the div's to be kept in
the markup as above, however I want the visual placement to be as
follows: scontent, tcontent, pcontent. Currently I have pcontent
{ span-12 push-12}, scontent {span-6 pull-24}, and tcontent {span-6}.
The problem is tcontent gets stuck to the right of pcontent OR it
slips below it.
Here's what I don't understand. Because it's not working as expected
I tried the page in the natural flow: pcontent {span-12}, scontent
{span-6}, and tcontent {span-6}. Now if I make scontent {span-6
pull-2}, it covers over part of pcontent and tcontent slides over two
also. If I make scontent {span-6 pull-8}, it is completely over
pcontent, BUT tcontent remains stuck at the right side of pcontent.
It doesn't matter whether I make tcontent {span-6 pull-4} or {span-6
pull-14} or anything else, it never floats over pcontent. Why not?
Why does one div float over another, but a third does not?
Someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong.
TIA
