Daniel; not to split hairs about JS framework speed, but I think you have
some misinformation about MooTools' speed. Dojo and jQuery are both faster
than MooTools, on average. However, it's a little less black and white than
that. There are some features that MooTools does better on, and others that
it is very slow on.

jQuery 1.3.x was quite slow.
