Hey Tim, 0.2-dev is a mostly functional state from the code perspective. I had attempted to fix the scripts for startup and shutdown, however they are obviously not working for you. I will be taking a look at the code base over the next few days to try and clean it up and fix the broken pieces. I would appreciate jira issues for anything that you find that is broken or doesn't work.
As far as the thriftblurserver class not sure what the exact name of the new class is, but perhaps I changed the package and forgot to update the script.
