Hi folks,

I am trying to gather some information on the use of USB communication
for critical functions on medical devices.

We know of devices which use it for memory stick access or program
upgrades or non critical monitoring, but not when it comes to reliable
device to device communication, e.g. setting a ventilator parameter from
a remote user interface.

Would anyone have experience with devices using USB communication or
advise of any equipment which uses this type of communication?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Jim.
