Hi all,

We have recently installed LED lights in the OR and now need to replace
our antiquated battery backup system.

The whole of our site is backed up by two generators either of which can
power the whole site so our thinking is that all we need is a UPS to
cover any switchover delay but in the absence of any appropriate
standards on hand, I would welcome comments.

Does the UPS still need to provide supply for the time it might take to
close a case, say 45-90 mins disregarding the emergency generator
backup, or is it OK just to provide cover for the generator switch over
delay.

Regards
