Essential Criteria: Qualifications acceptable to MWAHS. Ability to work unsupervised Substantial knowledge of medical equipment Fault finding to component level Report creation Familiarity with database operation ability to liase with medical and nursing staff Working knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards Have and maintain a current Driving licence Preparedness to attend and satisfactorily complete dialysis equipment training courses. Effective written and oral communications skills. Desirable criteria: Understanding of the clinical aspects of health care so as to distinguish between medical and technical problems. Experience in the repair and maintenance of electromechanical devices Experience in the repair and maintenance of renal dialysis equipment Hold a current NSW EPA Radiation Apparatus Licence type 1A10 Additional Requirements Preparedness to travel in the course of your duties and stay overnight where necessary. Preparedness to work outside normal hours when necessary including an "on Call" arrangement. Heavy equipment and equipment mounted above ground level is encountered. The ability to remove and service this equipment is essential.
