Hi
I am looking at using a range of flowmeters that are orifice based rather than
the usual flow tube style. The units sold for Oxygen use have a black
control/adjustment knob. I am looking for a standards reference that would
suggest that this should be white. AS3840 is not specific in this area. It
certainly talks about controls needing to be of the correct colour on
regulators.
Is anyone aware of a requirement within a standard that dictates the colour of
flowmeter controls. We have just put considerable effort into sorting this out
within the hospital, as oxygen/air confusion is a serious issue, and I don't
really want to introduce the problem all over again.
Thanks
Adrian Richards
