Subject: The Passing of Ross Mangano

Colleagues,

I am saddened to inform you that our good friend Ross Mangano passed away on
Saturday 15th January 2012 after a short illness. I regard Ross as one of the
Fathers of our Profession in Queensland as he introduced me to the Profession
back in 1972 and many others thereafter. His knowledge and wit will be missed.
You will be glad to hear that Engineers Australia recognised his huge
Contribution to the Engineering Profession by awarding him an Medal at the
Queensland Division AGM held on 30/11/2011. Many will also know Ross through
his role as President of the SMBE(Qld) since 1987.

Arrangements for the funeral as are the link below and please leave comments in
the attached guest book if you can as his family are not very aware of his
working life. Please send this notice on to those who may not be a recipient of
BMEList emails.
