Hi,

The MOH in Fiji has plans to replace all infusion pumps from next year and
has recently been approached by a company with an offer to provide
refurbished infusion pumps on loan where the only payment to be made is for
IV sets. Training, parts and service is all free of charge. This is a
totally new concept for us but i've heard this is practised in
australia. Before we make a decision on this offer, I need to understand
better how this concept works. Is anyone able to provde me with information
on this system with advantages and disadvantages and what we should be
looking out for.

The initial plan for replacement was to do an EOI and trial a few different
models of pumps in our health facilties.

Please advise.
