In February 2012 the EA Biomedical College, Victoria hosted a workshop
covering the revised standard AS/NZS 3003:2011 "Electrical installations
- Patient areas". This workshop included presentations from key members
of the Standards Australia Committee (HT-021) that developed the revised
standard, and provided guidance on practical application of the standard
outlining differences to the previous 2003 version.

This follow-up workshop will cover some of the outstanding issues
concerning practical application of the revised standard in Victoria,
with input from EnergySafe Victoria who oversee compliance with the
standard. It will further the development of uniform practices for all
Victorian Biomedical Engineers and Technicians involved in medical area
AS3003 testing, and will also allow for questions from the audience.

Attendance at this seminar is worth up to 5 Engineers Australia CPD
hours.
