AS/NZS 3003:2011 Follow-up Workshop Engineers Australia, Biomedical College, Victoria Friday 9th November, 2012 10.00am - 4.00pm John Connell Auditorium, Engineering House, 21 Bedford Street, North Melbourne, VIC 3051 In February 2012 the EA Biomedical College, Victoria hosted a workshop covering the revised standard AS/NZS 3003:2011 "Electrical installations - Patient areas". This workshop included presentations from key members of the Standards Australia Committee (HT-021) that developed the revised standard, and provided guidance on practical application of the standard outlining differences to the previous 2003 version. This follow-up workshop will cover some of the outstanding issues concerning practical application of the revised standard in Victoria, with input from EnergySafe Victoria who oversee compliance with the standard. It will further the development of uniform practices for all Victorian Biomedical Engineers and Technicians involved in medical area AS3003 testing, and will also allow for questions from the audience.
