Taken literally you could not even park your car in the parking lot of a race track as a spectator. I'm going with supplemental insurance next year. The deductible is outrageous, but the alternative is I will loose my insurance altogether since I had a damage claim from 4 years ago and a total loss 3 years ago. My insurance company and I aren't on the best of terms. Well maybe we are since I'm payable double rates now. I want the supplemental insurance to insulate me from my primary. If my car suffers any damage, it would be out of pocket any way. If the $hit hit@ the fan, I'll take the loss in the deductible. That is the price I pay to play. The alternative will be I'll stay at home and wax my car. I cut a small groove in the overhead panel and used the visor clip. Works just fine. I was wondering if two of the four wires in the jump start block were the alternator circuit. There is a big guage wire from the battery and a small guage wire coming thru the firewall. Then another large guage and a small gauge that joins up to the loom that joins the diagnostic port loom. If those small wires are actually the alternator ciruit I'm golden. Otherwise I'll be running wire around the engine compartment. I just renewed (and canceled too for other reasons) my policy with Liberty Mutual. I reread the policy and not only does it state what everyone else has said but it also includes something like "Any prearranged, organized or SPONTANEOUS racing or speed contest." I've seen the newest V1s sell on eBay for "more" than $400! What the guy needs to do is call to order a V1 and ask for a "refurbished" model at $50 off. I've bought two this way and so have many friends. Every "refurbished" model I have seen looked perfect. If he ever needs money he can put it on eBay and probably sell it for more than he paid for it.
