Scott can you also clarify the Motion 2? This means that in the future with 2 new Corporate Members, there will be 7 + 2 = 9 Community Members? And so on...?

Martin sent the minutes (http://docs.google.com/View?id=dg3mt5r8_36cn4776cw) out for the IIW Face-to-Face board meeting that happened on 11/10/2008 and I wanted to highlight one of the motions that passed: == Motion 1: We take new corporate board seats without a cap as the people write the checks and as per the bylaws we will be appointing board members to maintain parity+1 until such time as an election for the community seats is held. Proposed by Mike. Seconded by Drummond. Passed unanimously. == As a point of clarification, the board will be appointing *community* board members and will be heavily weighting that appointment on the previous election. For instance, after this election there will be 5 runners-up. If we add another corporate board member we'll need to appoint another community board member to maintain the n+1 parity from the pool of 5 people that were not elected. If this is not reflected in the by-laws or election procedures we'll need to update those accordingly.
