B&W definitely made a model L-1000-A linear amplifier and it did have a pair of 813 tubes.
http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/b&w/l1000a/ They also had the L-1001-A linear amplifier that used a pair of 813 tubes and was rated at 250-watts more output than the L-1000-A. That amplifier was sold less the tubes, without a power supply, and was rack mounted. I cannot find a schematic for this amplifier and it looks, physically, just like the L-1000-A! The L-1000A was a WRL product I believe. _______________________________________________ Boatanchors mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/boatanchors
