That is the expected behavior. You're asking for "the version from
2005-03-04 of the directory *currently* identified by the path trunk/
boinc/zip". My guess is what you wanted was the opposite: "the latest
version of the directory that used to be identified by trunk/boinc/zip
back in revision 5559".
That would be:
svn co http://boinc.berkeley.edu/svn/trunk/boinc/z...@5559
Or add -r if you don't want the latest version.

Was that move made in a way that all builds referring to some older
version of BOINC are broken now?
