Interesting thought.  "Hey Joe, I'll give 11 Primegrid credits for those 1000 
y...@home credits you have".  

But what do you do, now that you have market-based credit exchange?  Can't do 
anything with the credits, so there's still no real value in it.  You would 
have a way to display 'comparable' value, but you'd have to pretend that people 
aren't 'working' the system to promote their pet project.  Heck, just look at 
the stock market, even with having real value and the SEC to watch it, there's 
still all kinds of abuse going on.

I think the idea of a credit exchange has merit, but unless I have a reason to 
really negotiate with you, I might as well make it 1000 to 1 or even a million.

Some people think credits are important. Therefore credits have value. Rename 
credits for each project as Pounds, Francs, Zlotys etc and set up a currency 
market. Let the market rule and forget about it. Sometimes capitalism is a good 
thing.
