I think it's related to the proxy code changes. Can you get a backtrace of that segfault?

This is on both FC4 and F8 machines.  Kathryn, have you seen this too?

It's been doing this for the past 3 or 4 days now.   I usually ignore
such things unless they stick around, because they are often due to
"work in progress". But some change a few days ago seems to have broken
running apps standalone, even when everything compiles.
