Download the UNIX Command-line version of BOINC for the Mac from: <http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php>
It includes the boinccmd command-line tool. Instructions can be found at <http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/The_boinc_cmd_command-line_tool>. Since you've already installed BOINC, just copy the boinccmd application into the /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/ folder. The fix the permissions by either running the Mac_SA_Secure.sh shell script from the terminal (instructions are in teh comments in the script) or by running the BOINC GUI installer again. To use boinccmd, first cd /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/ then ./boinccmd [commands] Cheers, --Charlie At 8:42 PM -0400 9/8/09, Jack Shultz wrote: >The gui search tools in OSX seem worthless for our purposes.
