Thanks John and Rom for your replies (so fast), based in these we're going to work in the 6.6.36 (not 6.6.38 to mantain according with the general available version) and wait to the 6.10.x branch. Maybe work with 6.8.x branch in experimental but I don't know if we have time for this because we have a lot of work, mainly with the server related packages. Cheers! ;-) P.S. In the last Debconf was announced the plan to freeze Debian in December, based on this, it could be great if we can start to discuss about this topic with the goal to mantain BOINC in the best state in Debian (and derivatives), because the team need to mantain a stable version for a long time period (and this version maybe is the same for the next Ubuntu LTS). -- Fernando C.
