Linux: it's pretty easy, using /proc/net/dev. I'll do this.
Mac: Charlie, can you see what's available?
Windows: the "Performance Counters" API and/or its documentation
looks pretty horrible. Rom (or someone else),
can you please decipher it at some point?
I need a function that returns total bytes sent/received
on all interfaces.
