Another option, is to use a small library I have written for Jarifa
(http://jarifa.unex.es) a BOINC resources manager, that can post to
Identi.ca and from there, to Twitter and Facebook :). It is really
simple to use it, but as Nicolás said, using that apps is enough. We
are using this library to post not only news, but changes withing
Jarifa, for example each time a new volunteer joins Jarifa, an event
occurs and posts it to Identi.ca and Twitter, keeping the users
informed about what is going on :)
