You can use Visual Studio Express to build 64-bit apps if you install
the Windows SDK. Do a google search for more info.

I do not believe so.

I am. Does that not allow 64 bit compilation?

Are you attempting to build with the express version of Visual Studio?

So working with the code from the trunk, when I'm compiling the client
in visual studio 2008, it compiles the 32 bit release version just fine,
however when I change it to build x64 release, it just outputs "Skipped
Build" for every project without doing anything.

Is there a problem with the solution or am I missing something here?
