There have been a couple of such proposals over the years (first one I remember from the INRIA BOINC WS), all were rejected. I don't think that BOINC should add technical support for anything like it. But as apparently Team / Stats sites are already handling this their own way, maybe they can coordinate to develop a standard for themselves? Probably the BOINC trac wiki could be of help.
