I'd like a new BOINC feature - a way to give higher priority to workunits past 99% progress and within minutes of finishing, but only if previous workunits of that type have finished near enough to reaching 100% progress to indicate that their estimate that they are within minutes of finishing is correct.
I've subscribed to both GPUGRID long workunits and World Community Grid's new HCC GPU workunits. The WCG workunits usually leave a GPUGRID workunit waiting to run with an estimated time to finish under 5 minutes.
