Hi All,

I'm running a few Scientific Linux 6.3 boxes at home to develop software
for work.

I can't use the RPMs being distributed because of a version conflict
with a dependency that I've forgotten (sorry).

I've been building from sources which seems to work fine and let me use
the clientgui (boincmgr).

I just went through this for a new system and wonder if pulling from the
trunk is the wisest move. The warning on startup catches my eye.

Any recommendations on what I should be using (if you could include a
git command line, you'll save me an hour or two)?

Thanks.

Oh one more question, I know it's not proper to include 2 questions in
one email but this is minor.

The new version fills the event log with messages that look like:

Mon 29 Oct 2012 02:36:32 PM PDT | | rsc 1: sim_used_inst 1 mask 1
sim_excluded_instances 0

What does that mean?

Joe
