Hi Ishan and Co., it depends on what you want to do and how much time you want/have to spend.
If you're interested in space, aviation and engineering, you are welcome to code your own application suitable for distributed and/or parallel processing and we would really love to host it on our Constellation Platform[0]. We're an open platform for any aerospace related project. In this way you don't have to run your own boinc server, but still can use one, train all the skills you need and can concentrate on the app. And you are completely free to find a numerical space or aviation project or we could find one together. Eight months is not so much time for a team your size and you can focus on just one aspect. And in general: Could you provide us with more background what you can/want to do and for why you do this for? It helps us to help you :).
