Firstly, the use of indecent language in email headers or the body of text is unlikely to lead to a useful discussion on this email list. Do not do it again. Secondly, this email list is meant to be used by people who can contribute positively to the development of BOINC. The vast majority of BOINC users address their concerns to the boinc_dev forum where the Questions and Problems section would be the best place to start a new thread: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/index.php I advise consummate politeness in any posting there. Thirdly, you appear to have discovered that on a 50% CPU setting BOINC processes for 1 second then rests for 1 second and so on.
