I already send David the link to download the VM and upload it to the boinc server. As soon as this happened I'll make the changes in the wiki.
Regarding the upload/download server showing disabled. This is already documented in the wiki (a little bit hidden, but it's there). See http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ProjectOptions#server-status Maybe we should add a comment in server_status.php that says where to find the setting for this? This is not exclusive for the VM but for all installations on distros where the apache pid-file is not in /etc/httpd/run/httpd.pid.
