Hi! Whenever we issue a new app version we get a lot of Download errors and ERR_RESULT_START "Client" errors.
On computer with a rather slow internet connection (Mac OS PPC, thus with an old BOINC Client 6.12) I recently noticed that the client already started a task after downloading the data files, but while the application binary was incomplete and still being downloaded. Could it be that nowadays clients still do that? Where's the code that determines whether all the files necessary to start a tasks have been downloaded?
