I completed the SVN migration, I have yet to finish the git v1->git v2 migration. I've gotten as far as December 13th 2012. The comparison of v1 and v2 has to happen sometime after we standardized the line endings. ----- Rom -----Original Message----- From: Oliver Bock [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2013 12:52 PM To: Rom Walton Cc: [email protected]; David Anderson (BOINC) Subject: Re: Git Migration Status (boinc-v2) On 2/12/13 17:46 , Rom Walton wrote: > Actually I would expect that all the missing files we initially > experienced in v1 should now appear in v2. I presume those fixes went into master and probably the 7.x tags/branches, so these are the ones I'm interested in. > On 2/4/13 19:29 , Rom Walton wrote: >> This weekend I was able to upload a new version of the v2 repo to >> http://boinc.berkeley.edu/gitweb/ and apply the patch sets I had been >> maintaining until roughly mid-December. > I'll have to complete the migration before I'll know what, if > anything, is different between v1 and v2 in either the master or 7.0b branch. Oh, I understood you completed the next test migration on that weekend you mentioned above. Anyway, I just wanted to know whether you ran some sanity checks to verify that your patch sets are complete. You need to find a common v1/v2 baseline to make this possible of course. Some commit after 2012-10-16 should do I think.
