Yeah... but that leaves all information still in the registry. The Uninstaller doesn't remove those entries, as they (can) (will) be used when you next install BOINC. Remember that the BOINC installer will uninstall an older version of BOINC as well prior to installing the new version, so it can't remove the registry entries as else it forgets what to do the upgrade on.
