I found another glitch with work fetch. The case is 0.2 days of minimum work buffer,3 days of extra work. A CPDN task with another month of work remaining and a deadline in 15 days - high priority single CPU. 1 task from a multi CPU project that is scheduled for all CPUs on the system. No other tasks.
The high priority CPDN task is running, one CPU is idle, and NO work fetch is being attempted. The way out. Micromanagement. Disable work fetch for the multi CPU project. Suspend the multi CPU task. Wait for more work to be fetched. Resume the multi CPU task, enable work fetch for the multi CPU project. Repeat as needed for the next month or so. -----Original Message----- From: boinc_alpha [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rom Walton Sent: Tuesday, April 23, 2013 3:41 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected]; [email protected]; BOINC Alpha Subject: [boinc_alpha] BOINC 7.0.64/7.0.65 released for the public Howdy Folks, BOINC 7.0 is now available for public use.
