I'll get a build out today. It should be build 7.2.30 when it hits the
beta channel in the PlayStore.

Subject: Re: [boinc_dev] Android x86 and MIPS support

We've got an x86 app in distribution in SETI@home beta, but no hosts
capable of running it. Could you let us know when a BOINC capable of
running on x86-android is released and what it's version number is?
Some tablets with x86 appear to still be getting the ARM version from
the Play store.

Not i686-android-linux-gnu like all the other i686 linux platforms?

On the plus side, it appears that the SETI@home i686 linux binary works
unmodified on Android (athough not yet tested under BOINC), although I
might recompile anyway just to change the definition of "low memory".

I have added support for multiple architectures to the Android
Manager. Rom has provided the scripts to set up the various toolchains
and to build the core client.

BOINC platform strings are:
"arm-android-linux-gnu"
"x86-android-linux-gnu"
"mipsel-android-linux-gnu"

It has only been tested on emulators at this point. We will get test
results from real devices (x86 at least) after publishing the changes
to the Android beta group.
