Hi Andy, After looking into it a bit further, I have added the build of the boinc_zip library libboinc_zip.a for the Mac to the BuildMacBOINC.sh script, as you originally requested. It is built any time the comamnd-line arguments (or lack thereof) call for the other BOINC libraries to be built.
This is currently in the GIT Master branch only.
